A bodybuilder who carries himself like a head coach: grounded, calm, deliberate. The kind of guy whose advice you'd take seriously the first time you met him. Then he opens his mouth, and it turns out he believes, sincerely, without irony, that a small red candy-colored gummy is the most powerful weapon in a man's arsenal. The gap between his physical credibility and his absurd subject matter is the entire comedy. The audience laughs because Brick won't. He never winks. He never breaks. He never acknowledges that anything he's saying is unusual.
